SureStart Play

SureStart Play is a highly secure SaaS product designed to manage all information and data requirements for SureStart and Early Years projects across Northern Ireland. The system has been in use since 2009 and was a key tool for early years project coordinators, allowing them to efficiently manage all aspects of their projects.

The SureStart Play system included advanced security measures to protect the sensitive data stored within it, ensuring that all personal and confidential information was kept safe and secure. This was of critical importance, given the nature of the information stored within the system.

One of the key features of SureStart Play was its real-time national-level reporting functionality. This allowed early years project coordinators to generate reports on the progress of their projects at both a local and national level, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness of their programs. The reporting functionality also enabled project coordinators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to continually improve the quality of their services.

After serving the Northern Irish community for over a decade, the decision was made to decommission SureStart Play in 2022 as it had reached the end of its natural life cycle.
